Here's a shot from my first outing with the FZ150. This was at maximum zoom (600mm equiv.) hand held at 1/125. I used manual exposure due to dark background but also had success exposure locking on the ground/feet that were in full light.

So far the camera works beautifully. Haven't read the instructions or even played with it much, but find the controls are there when I look for them and efficient. The display is bright and clear and uncluttered if you want it that way (no info shown). The EVF is a bit small and good for composition but not really evaluating detail/quality.

For this shot I was crouched down, LCD flipped out with camera resting in my hand supported somewhat by my knee. Focus locked on the eye and then recomposed.

The original JPEG from camera in RAW+Finest

The RAW file converted using default Lightroom 3.5 (latest)

I think the jpegs are pretty good from this camera, but there is more detail in the raw if you don't mind a bit of noise, which I don't.
