Took My X100 & 5DMkII to London (7 images)

I took my X100 and Canon 5D Mark II to London (3 days) and then on to Ibiza (1 week).

It might be that my X100 is a new toy, but I didn't take a single shot with the 5D2! On previous vacations I'd carry it everywhere and take hundreds of shots.

The X100 doesn't have the same dynamic range, and while high ISO shots are very good, the 5D2 is still better (although the noise is better behaved on the X100, no banding).

However, after using the X100 for a while, I picked up the 5D2 with a 24-70mm f/2.8intending to take it out with me and it was so heavy, I thought "Nah!" and put it back down again.

I'll still be using my 5D2 that's for sure, but the X100 is going to do everywhere with me.
