a850 micro focus adjustment question

I only currently have one lens for my newly acquired used a850

i got the 24mm f2. To my surprise it needed -14 focus adjustment.

my question, is this an automatic thing where the camera remembers the adjustment per lens?

i don't want to have to change this every time i change lenses
