Need help to install firmware for Sony A55 please!!

Hi guys,

New to the Forum, but I'm trying desperately to download the latest firmware for my A55 SLT (the 2.00 I believe) On Sony.ca web.,however when I do that my Apple (Power Book G4 OS X 10.5.8 version)computer does not ready it? .My take is that my machine may be too old ?and it does not carry an Intel processor will not work?...What are my other options? other than buy a new Apple computer of course... Anyone run into the same problem?

Any input will be greatly appreciate.
