M8 + Zeiss 35mm questions

Yes, I've read both Ken Rockwell's Steve Huff's comparisons of the Zeiss 35mm f/2 vs f/2.8. My question concerns viewfinder blockage. Is it really an issue with some of you M8 shooters? It the blockage significant enough to drive you to getting a smaller diameter lens like the Leica 35mm lens?
