A77 to A700 comparisons

The a77 is the successor to the A700. Doesn't it then make sense to see studio and field comparisons to the a700? I also assume that a great many a700 shooters are looking at the a77 as an upgrade to their current kit. Again, it just makes logical sense to see how much of an improvement the a77 is over the a700, to see if it's worth shelling out the money for it, or just get a new lens for the a700... Seriously, my choice is a a77 or a nice 70-200 2.8, or maybe a 135-1.8.

Anyway, just my rant. DPR just posted their studio comparison images and the wonderful comparator tool doesn't offer the a700 as a camera to compare images with.
