Need advice on Zeiss 35/1.4 vs. Zeiss 35/2

I am on the fence about exchanging my beloved ZF 35/2 for the ZF.2 35/1.4. Reasons are the longer focus throw, the additional f-stop (especially for achieving this nice medium format look) and the smooth transitions from in focus to out of focus areas. On the negative side are price, size and weight of the 35/1.4.

Does anybody have experience with both lenses? If so, it would by nice if you could share your findings.

By the way, I would use the lens on a D700 mostly for environmental portraits.
