Any experience with canon 50 1.2 LTM ?

i really cannot sleep thinking at that lens. reviews (especially those on LuminosLandscapes) are not very encouraging, flickr content is so-so. above all prices rose form 300$ to 1000$ in 5 years and i am thinking that is some artificial praises regarding its performances. So... any thoughts ?
