Media Pro (formerly iView), anyone going there?

PhaseOne bought Media Pro from Microsoft which bought it from iView a few years back. As I recall, iView had a staunch following and is extremely fast and powerful as a cataloging tool. But then Lightroom and Aperture came a long and iView became a Microsoft product and it languished there.

It's now with PhaseOne, which appears to be a good thing and is being offered at a discount. PhaseOne also produces Capture One Pro which is a very high end raw converter/image editor and I'm sure the products will begin integrating into a very sophisticated offering (they both are top notch right now, in their own right), which will be able to compete with LR and Ap (and Bibble 5 and ?).

Mike Hagan among others have reviewed the Phase one products:

My question: is anyone planning on going this direction? Any converts want to share opinions on Media Pro and or Capture One Pro? (vs LR or Ap or anything else).

(Note: Right now Media Pro is 30% off)
