Stop Motion/Interval mode on Sony A900/A580?
Sep 22, 2011

Years ago I used to own a Minolta Dimage 7i. On that camera I was able to set it to take a new image every 30 seconds or so automatically using an "interval" mode.

I am doing a trade show next week and thought it would be nice to record the setting up of our booth in a "stop motion" style video with lots of JPEGs that I could make in to a video.

I thought my A900 or A580 may have this feature, but can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone familiar with this know if that function is available on the A900 or A580 or would I be better hunting out the old Dimage 7i? I also have a KM5D and KM7D but couldn't find it on either of those either.

I know my Android phone can do it, but an SLR is easier to mount to a tripod.

Many thanks,
