Thanks for the replies!

I know I did not give much specs or other info to guide you. But in all honesty I am an amateur who just need a monitor with good resolution and fairly natural colors.

I wish a few people could just say:

"I recently bought the 24" Dell / Lacie / Samsung XXYZ model" and I love it. Highly recommended. Go get it."

That would give me a couple of good options to look into.

Everything takes a lot of time reading up on, and once one starts to get down with all the IPS-E, IPS-D etc lingo, several hundred hours have easily passed. I did the reading up for the camera, PP software etc. Now I just want to go buy a screen : )

I need a monitor that is fairly good for photo (amateur) work. I don't play games so don't need ultra fast response time or other functionality. I do prefer regular buttons that can be pressed (as opposed to touch screen stuff) and it would be good if the frame isn't glossy so I don't have to clean of dust everyday. Price up to about EUR 500.

That's it basically

Anyone bought a monitor recently?

Happy?

D you recommend it?
