Thank you very much for your help.
I found out several things for myself from your beautiful photos:

1. the defished photos look like some 20 - 24 mm FF equivalent WA.

2. the edge of the frame is (as far as I can judge from the uploaded photos) as least as sharp in the defished as in the original photo.

Lastly, to my own surprise:

3. I liked your originals better than the defished versions. It seems to me, that the conception of your photos is nicely adapted to the lens characteristics. (This might be different with other motives or any own photos.) Perhaps I should not wait for a Samyang UWA and get the fisheye...
