Fast peaking on/off?

I am shooting purely manual focus and I've found that I really like focus peaking for certain circumstances, e.g., need to focus quickly. But I don't like it on when I have time to use the magnified focus to really nail it. My objection is that I really like using the screen to compose, and the peaking obscures the image appearance.

So my question is whether anyone has an easy way to turn peaking on and off. It's not an option for any soft key, and it's under set up where menu diving is tedious.
