The Huey you already own should be ok for profiling wide gamut displays if you use the free ArgyllCMS software. There is also the free dispcalgui program to make the process a little more friendly. There is an article on using ArgyllCMS with wide gamut displays here:

. It doesn't matter which version of they huey you have if working with Argyll because it reads data from the device directly. I've not worked with the huey or a wide gamut monitor myself. But I’ve been reading up in preparation for purchasing one.
