Walking around Copenhagen with the X100
Sep 11, 2011

Thought I'd share some of the pics I took with the X100 on a recent stay. Copenhagen has lots of street life, and I lucked up on the weather, which otherwise has been dismal this year (and which can be worked around using b&w). For the X100 I strongly recommend a Thumbs-up and a Bip or Bug and a wrist strap. They make one-handed shots quick and stealthy.
I know the criticisms, but I really, really like this camera.
It's a city of bicycles
And tricycles
And pretty girls everywhere
Pretty girls with nutella
And this, too
And canals
And towers (two of the lights are for cyclists)
Absalon, who founded Copenhagen 900 years ago, was a bishop, but he was still a Viking.
And towheads
The horns blow whenever a virgin passes by. No one remembers the last time the horns blew. (extreme crop)
And yes, politics
And smørrebrød! That's fiskefilet and frkadeller and Grøn Tuborg.
