Cape Otway Lighthouse

Took a trip out to the Cape Otway Lighthouse and Cable Station today.

The cable station was the point that the telegraph cable arrived on the mainland. Cape Otway was also the first land that ships sighted on their voyage from England. The cable station relayed the details of all ships arriving to Melbourne.

Here's a shot of the cliffs from the top of the lighthouse. It was pretty windy up there.
