Feral boar hog shot near Spur TX with SD15 & 50-500 OS

They escaped from farms in the early 1900's and are breeding wild all over Texas and the south.

Its not unusual to see 50 or more in a pack- and they don't seem to have much of a sense of humor:)

Years ago we would catch them with ropes and feed them out on grain to get out the wild taste- they're quite good eating. This one probably weighs 200-225, I've seen them over 500 lbs with 4" tusks.
