Thanks for your answers....so basically you say that good HDR shots only can be obtained with the help of a tripod. As soon as I have some money, I will get one (it was already on my wishlist)

But I'm still curious...have you read those articles? It is written clearly that many of the HDR pictures on DPreview are handheld....so do you think that for those shots, Photoshop was always used, since it is the only software that can give decent results with handheld shots?
