D7000 focus - can I take it to someone; testing services?

Hello. Owner (beginner/amateur) of a D7000 who mainly uses a 24-70. However, I do not think I'm getting the 'tact sharp' focused images as I should. There are so many threads here on this topic, but what I would like to know if there is someone -- a professional -- who I can take my camera to and find out once and for all? If I brought my camera to Nikon, would the do some test shots with it before checking it in for maintenance? Do certain shops outside of Nikon provide this type of focus testing services? Please let me know. Thanks!
