Where I live it is vey humid in the Summer and dry from the heat in the Winter. I've owned two Epson 1220s, an R1800, and two R800s. All clogged so much I eventually discarded them. I now have a Canon i9900, a Pro9000 MkII, a Pro 9500 MkII, an an iPF6300, wich replaced an iPF 6250, and I have never had a clogging problem with any of those printers. I have an Epson Artisan 835, which, likewise seems immune to clogging. Last Winter I bought an Epson 3880 which requires a head cleaning if it sits more than two weeks, but, other than that, it's been good so far.
