Panasonic GH2 time exposures -- pretty good!

I am pleasantly surprised at how well the GH2 does time exposures. The results are a bit noisy, but shooting RAW with the "long shutter noise reduction" setting ON, I'm able to get decent results that can be smoothed out in post proc.
The two shots below were takedn with a GH2, 14-140mm lens at 14mm f/6.3 with a B&W 3.0 ND filter. Shutter speed: 40 sec.
Long exposures of daylight scenes often result in interesting or eerie light painting, so I'm happy that the GH2 can handle this sort of thing! Two samples below:
