Is this one really that poor?

This was one I entered in the tri-color bird challenge. I didn't expect to win or even place in the top 30, but this one took place 90 out of 98. Some that placed better were not 3 or more colors but two colors. A starling isn't really a 3 tone bird. Neither were some of the others, & many were overexposed. The winner & runner ups deserved to win but I don't think mine was a 90. Comments anyone?
