I love my D3. It's perfect in ALMOST every way.
I don't need more resolution.
I don't need movies.
I don't need any extra ISO performance.
I don't need better color.
I don't need a dust vibration system.
I don't need any more buttons.
ALL I NEED... is a counter that goes to 999,999 without having to run a script on import.
