So far, all the excitement about the X10 is largely on the new technologies, and as a mini-X100, which is logical.

On the other hand, Fujifilm has had a cult following of F30/F31fd, both were highly rated by DPreview in yesteryears, mainly on IQ. So, if we consider the X10 actually the offspring carrying the torch for people longing for a better successor to F31fd, we should expect great IQ potential for X10. At least on the specs, X10 is every bit better than F31fd, so hopefully the handling and ultimately the IQ would deliver the punch all Fujifilm fans have long looking for beyond the F31fd.

Any F30/F31fd fans cares to comment?
