These general statements are just nonsense. I was out in the swamp in a wobbly canoe with my D300s and I needed rapid autofocus/rear focus button/large buffer and a large grip. At the iso 200 there also would not be any image quality difference. Each photographer has his/her own needs and the D7000 just doesn't meet all of them. For walk around I use my D90 and there the D7000 would exceed the need.
