Early Morning Mule Deer (1 image)

I had been up and out to shoot for hours by this time but... this was still fairly early anyhow at about 8 AM Sunday morning.
The image was taken up the draw from the hot spring at the Hart Mountain Antelope Refuge. She was with 3 other does and when I spotted them I noted there was at least on fawn with them. However I did not see the fawn or other fawns again as they either laid down or the brush was just hiding them. I watched the herd for quite a while but mostly no photo op because of the brush between us. The opportunity for this particular image presented itself though and I am an opportunist.
