Eliminate duplicate doubles?

--Help: Is their a program that'll allow one to eliminate duplicate images/files name?
The problem i'm having is when i create a folder & drop in the images, I sometimes have duplicate images & have to eliminate them one at a time.
Maybe their is a way to dump them in PS, LR .etc if ya know please share it with me.
