Regluing grip to E-300. Best bonding agent?

My E-300 is getting old. I have just replaced the card door (broken tabs) and now I need to glue the grip and thumb pad.
Can anyone provide me with their thoughts on a bonding product?
It looks like the old bond was a tacky substence, maybe rubber cement?
