Cool 5D2 Video Publishing
Aug 19, 2011

I found this site that does really cool video hosting and delivery. Oh, and it's free?

After nearly three years of owning this camera I've started to get intrigued into video and editing in Final Cut. I have a few 5D2 (albeit amateurish) videos that I wanted to host with my websites look and branding. I stumbled upon this site that hosts all your video uploads for free. It has a decent storage allotment. I like the video player because you can create from scratch your video player that has "skinning" that matches your current web page. Even tweak the sizing. The really cool part is the video code generated is a simple embed link. So putting the code into a webpage was just a copy and paste.

I'm starting to do more video, so IMHO having a delivery that isn't just somewhere to be found on youtube is nice. Here's my first stab at making a few custom video pages:

I've done some photography work for Nikki Beach in the past so I put together quick player using some older content with a player that respresents their brand well. The possibilities for a one person photography shop just got a heck of a lot bigger.

I know many of you dabble into video, and some of you are even reselling whether it be wedding, documentary, etc... So you might find this helpful in presenting your work, and creating video players for you content your already doing for you clients.

Now hopefully the 5D3 can do 2K RAW video!
