AF DC Nikkor Battle: 105mm vs 135mm on FX

According to the MTF curves published by Nikon, the 135mm f2.0 DC looks slightly better than the the 105mm f2.0 DC wide open. Yet I have read some reviews that prefer the 105mm to the 135mm. Has anyone here tried them both on FX? Which is the better portrait lens on FX? Thanks.
