The Moon and Jupiter

Finally had clear skies to try out the Tamron 70-300 VC with the Kenko 1.4X teleconverter. Here are the raw plus the unedited .jpg versions at full resolution size. The EXIF info. is included.

.Jpg Even with all the noise suppression turned off, there still is a lot of softening and loss of detail in the .jpg images.

I also got a shot of Jupiter.

This lens combination never failed to autofocus in contrast or phase detect modes on the moon but the sharpest shots were with manual focusing. These look a little sharper on my screen. When uploading, they seems to soften a bit.
