New S9100 owner--any hints?

Bought it. Like it.

It's replacing my ZS3 that has seen better days, after a fall. (I fell; didn't drop the Pany)

Any hints to help this new user?

(My other P&S is an LX5; like the photos. Lens is too short for the way I shoot most of the time.)
