Look the OP may be right. I've had this problem with my G2 a couple of months after I bought it http://www.vimeo.com/25066664

What I want to know is this -- have any of you tried shaking, not roughly, just like in the video though and seeing if your 14-42 lens makes this clicking sound? I sent it into Panasonic's repair center here in Texas (USA) and they informed me that it was normal to click like that and also to click when you fully extend the zoom and retract the zoom. Has anyone else had this problem? running a video while moving in a vehicle with the camera on 2 inches of foam -- it shouldn't and other cameras "lenses" don't make this clicking noise.

These cameras are supposed to be noted for their video, is this clicking something you should expect from them? What does this say for their service people. The last time I got a hold of them they returned a reply, although they said they would call back.
