Nikon D90 - where to start?

I just got a Nikon D90 yesterday, it's my first SLR (I had previously just been using a Panasonic point and shoot) and I'm very excited to get started with it!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to begin learning about the camera and how to use everything? I know the manual is an obvious place to start and I plan on getting through that but any other suggestions you guys can offer would be much appreciated
