Hey guys,

Quite a few comments already have questioned the rumored Sonnar 1.8/24 for NEX. Is Sonnar for wide angles? Is this a fake.

Actually, The Sonnar name has been used by Zeiss since 1938 for different lenses for compact cameras ranging from 35 to 40 mm focal length.

The new 36mm eq. lens will fall nicely into this well-known range.
