wireless printing (epson 7880)

Does anybody knoiw how to do this?

I am picking up a used 7880 next week and it is too big for my study, so the idea is to put it in the cellar. I had planned on using some sort of wireless technology (eg. access point, printer server, etc) to connect the printer. I asked Epson for advice, and was told that wireless is not supported.

Epson won't comment on whether it would work, so I am wondering whether anybody here has used wireless to connect a 7880 (or comparable) printer. And, if so, how?
