EX1 survives dousing

In a freak accident an entire glass of beer dumped onto the top of my TL500. I dried it off quickly though I'm sure a little of the beer got inside the case. The telescoping tubes had some wet spots and a bit got into the extending flash.

The good news is that the camera seems to have survived without much problem. IQ is not affected and all of the mechanicals work (though the zoom lever feels a little stiff and gummy)

I think it is mostly a matter of luck both bad and good.
