HS10/20 moving up to DSLR - which one to get?

Here's a question probably not easily anwsered, but which entry-level/budget dslr+lens would one get as a step up from a Fuji HS10/20?

The DSLR would have to have be fast, have high IQ and preferably AA batteries, have support for externals like flash, microphone, shutter remote etc.
