Outdoor lighting - light spill on the ground
Aug 3, 2011

Hello,

I m doing a lot of fashion/portrait photographie outside and I m a huge fan of rambrant lighting.

To get a rambrant you may put your light some how at 45° on one side and up pointing downward.

So it creates nice shadows on the face but change the exposure on the ground that I don't find so nice.

I was thinking to use two lights one whit a smaller modifier for the face and one for the body to limite the light spill on the ground but I havent tested yet.

Have you a idea to solve this issue?

Thank by advance

Fred
