Stunning as always Mark.

You took the words right out of my mouth (er, keyboard.) I was going to say "Stunning as usual."

Mark, are those shot live, out in the field?

well not the "field" just my backyard... and yes all live and living. the 1st one took me the most effort. they are very difficult to get up front.

I believe it. With a short reversed lens your working distance is what, about a centimeter? How do you get so close to damsels? Especially head-on like that?

it is 52,5mm and that is very short indeed. Soo you need to pay attention how to approach. When I started a few years ago almost all critters flew away. Now I know how to get close to them. Patience! and go slow and in the evening or morning. In daytime they are too busy with hunting...

cheers,

Mark
