G3 uncomfortable to hold ?

Hi

I've got a G1 with 14-45 and 45-200 lenses and it's a really comfortable camera to hold and generally I'm getting good results. Been thinking about a G3 upgrade and have tried it in a few stores but as soon as I pick it up I find the new grip so small that it becomes quite painful to hold very quickly. Anyone else finding this but have maybe gone ahead anyway because of the better performance? The GH2 is more than I want to spend so now thinking of getting a G2 as an extra body instead. Any thoughts? Thanks. Ivor
