Just learning to do without an OVF. Not fun!
Took the TL500 out for a test run & got some mixed results. The sun was very bright & almost straight overhead. Sky was very bright & subject was white marble. The sky was a different color in several shots & I had a hard time getting the marble to show up white without blowing out the sky/clouds. I will work on the raw files & see what "develops". I couldn't use the display for anything except rough composing, no way was I going to be able to do any creative metering or anything that requires careful viewing of the scene. This is my first camera without an OVF & I am struggling with using the display to get the shot I want. Otherwise I think it's a great camera for toting around.
One JPG sample:
