Improved touch of the G3 buttons and holding and operating the cam

This is the way I use my G3.
Perhaps unconventional but I use a small light weight table tripod giving me a firm hold for the camera. The tripod in my left hand and I do all my settings with my right hand. Only the LVF/LCD button is uncomfortable for my right hand. But all the rest of the settings including zooming the lens is very comfortable for the right hand (only for right handed people I suppose). On the picture you will also see the 4 buttons over which I placed the 1.5 mm thick, 9 mm diam flexible foam pads. I am still content with that solution. The operation is just like is was originally. No problem of accidentally activating the buttons. But now I find them blindly. One drawback is that is does not looks as cool as it "should be" but I don't care.
The tripod is only 20 cm (could be somewhat shorter but I don't have). I am totally mobile with this "configuration" and can use either the LFV or the LCD.
