Camel Congestion

A very different sort of traffic congestion today. These guys kind of go wherever they want to go, and they weren't too keen to get out of the way.

Apparently if you hit one in your car by day, it's your fault. If you hit one at night it's the owner's fault for not securing his herd. Either way, it'll be pretty messy as there's a lot of weight coming directly towards you at windshield height!

Beautiful in an ugly kind of way - amazing creatures though, as after 5 minutes in the heat I needed a litre of water (125f/53c in the shade!)
