T3I video

For some reason when I play an edited wmv video made in Windows Live Movie Maker with Windows Media Player it’s scrambled. Does anyone know how to fix the problem? I never had this problem until I bought my T3I which has HD Video. Also when I play an unedited movie in Quick time it is huge. When I go into the Quick time preferences and tell it to view ½ size it still plays it huge. What am I doing wrong?
I can’t play the unedited video cause it is so huge and I can’t play or send anyone a video because it is scrambled. I attached a screen capture showing the video. It scrambles much worse than this but I did a screen capture when it wasn’t as bad so you could tell there was a video.
The unedited plays fine in Windows Live Movie Maker..until I edit it. I have reinstalled Windows Essentials with no luck.
