Traveling from USA to Africa - Need insurance for camera equipment

Sorry, I've looked around for a good answer on this, but haven't found anything yet. I'm looking for the answer to what to do about getting insurance coverage on my camera equipment for a photography-based missions trip to Africa. I currently have umbrella coverage of my equipment under my home-owners insurance, but that does not cover anything outside of the country. I've already talked to my insurance agent about that and he didn't have any options for me.

Any help would be much appreciated. I am worried more about theft than damage, but if I'm going to get insurance, I would assume both would be covered. I have about $5,000 worth of equipment.
