I created a "Slide Bazooka" which was taped to the lens hood of my D FA Macro 100mm F2.8.

  • 3" cardboard mail tube 8" in length (cut with chop-saw)

  • Cardboard glued to end of mail tube with slide rectangle cut-out

  • diced tomato can with the bottom cut out

  • 2 rows of masking tape wrapped around the tomato can (bearings for mail tube)

K2000 and D FA 100mm Macro F2.8

Tape soup can to lens hood - good fit

slide mail tube over soup can

Adjust slide distance from lens by sliding mail tube back and forth

Focus

Take picture
