LR3 profiles question

I've recently viewed a few video tutorials from Pro's who all process their images using either LR or ACR.

They all seem to use the default profile of Adobe Standard and obviously achieve fantastic results.

I wondered therefore how many Nikon shooters just rely on the default profile in LR or ACR, against those like me who consider that using specific profiles gives a better result.

I personally use the V3 profiles in LR3, having found the ACR and Adobe Standard profiles to be a bit lacking, especially on skin tones.

Maybe I just need to spend more time adjusting the Adobe profile to suit me.
