xz-1, the value of custom settings

I have a new xz-1 and just started to learn how to use it. I shoot semi pro with a Canon 5d and will use the xz-1 for backup. I saw some "sweet light" tonight at sunset after a storm. very nice yellow light that we all love. I took a shot using aperture priority and "shade" white balance. this shot looks just like what I was seeing. then I shot one on automatic. the camera used auto wb to lower the setting and lost the sweet light. I shoot in raw so this could have been corrected with pp, but I prefer getting it right with the camera. the images were saved as jpegs and resized with no pp, they are a little dark and could use some fill light but I wanted to post them without any change.
