experience with refurbished direct from Canon

Hey-
Been looking into getting a 60d for a while now and the $899 body is tempting but haven't been having much luck finding it in stock. Noticed Canon direct is having a nice deal on refurbished bodies, saw they had the 60d 18-135 kit for ~$885, and that price is hard to pass on
So I guess my question is this: Has anyone had experience with the refurbish direct from canon? I know they have a 90 day warranty on them, but what all do they do during the refurbish process, is there any way to know you aren't going to get a body with 90k+ shutter counts?
